When we launched Perceptive our primary focus was on helping teams building web applications, so we prioritised our OWASP Top 10 and ASVS assessments.

But since then we’ve had a lot of enquiries from folks building mobile apps, asking we why haven’t yet included a mobile-focused assessment. Well, today is the day. If you’re on our Professional plan or above you’ll now see a new option when you select an assessment for your project - OWASP Mobile ASVS.

Similar to our core ASVS assessment, this new one includes a comprehensive set of requirements to protect against platform-specific threats such as insecure data storage and reverse engineering.
